On November 20, the 2025 Guangxi Story Sharing Session and the Achievement Release Ceremony of the China-ASEAN Youth Digital Storytelling Project were held in Nanning. Fu Huifen, an international student majoring in Chinese Language and Literature from the GXU School of Liberal Arts, was appointed as the 2025 Guangxi Storyteller. Moreover, GXU had won awards for 10 works and was awarded the "Excellent Organization Award".
During the event, combining her own study experience, Fu Huifen shared vivid stories about her academic journey under the theme of "Crossing Mountains and Seas with Dreams, Writing a New Chapter of Friendship with the Power of Youth". In the award-winning works release session of the China-ASEAN Youth Digital Storytelling Project, the works of GXU won 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 4 excellence awards.

It is reported that the 2025 China-ASEAN Youth Digital Storytelling Project, sponsored by the Information Office of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Department of Education, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Department of Culture and Tourism, the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangxi and the Guangxi Expo Bureau, is an important platform for promoting regional youth exchanges and cooperation. It has attracted the extensive participation of more than 500 young creators from China and ASEAN countries, and received 206 registered works covering various categories such as short videos, documentaries, animations, music, photography and fine arts, and online literature. 35 award-winning works were announced and displayed on site.
