On April 27, a delegation led by Le Tuan Anh, Director of the Department of Cooperation and Development at Vietnam National University, HanoiVNU, visited Guangxi University(GXU). Yu Wenjin, Vice President of GXU, met with Le Tuan Anh and his delegation.

Yu Wenjin welcomed Le Tuan Anh and his delegation. He stated that for a long time, GXU has carried forward the traditional China-Vietnam friendship established by the Guangxi Nanning Yucai School (Vietnam Central School Zone) and has maintained close exchanges with Vietnamese universities. On April 14, GXU and VNU signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two universities, promoting the continuation of the "Yucai bond" and ushering in a new stage of comprehensive exchanges and cooperation in various fields. He emphasized that in recent years, the two universities have had frequent mutual visits, continuously improved cooperation mechanisms, and accumulated rich experience in areas such as student exchange and joint training. In the next step, GXU will actively establish a regular exchange mechanism, expand cooperative education programs, focus on advantageous disciplines to carry out scientific research cooperation and academic seminars, promote the sharing of high-quality resources, and leverage its geographical advantages to serve China-ASEAN educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, contributing to the China-Vietnam community with a shared future at a higher level.

Le Tuan Anh expressed gratitude for the warm reception from GXU and briefly introduced the operation status and development plan of VNU. He stated that GXU and Vietnamese education share a unique historical origin. With the successful visit of Vietnamese President To Lam to China, including a visit to GXU, a major opportunity for cooperation has emerged between the two sides. VNU attaches great importance to its cooperative relationship with GXU and looks forward to strengthening practical cooperation in student exchange, credit transfer, and joint training, promoting more mutual visits and studies for faculty and students, and continuously deepening exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in the fields of education, science and technology, and humanities.

During the symposium, the two sides focused on artificial intelligence, semiconductor research and development, doctoral student training, and cooperative education programs. They exchanged in-depth views on joint talent cultivation, discipline co-building, and academic exchanges, reaching multiple cooperation consensuses, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent projects.

During the visit, the delegation toured the former site of the Guangxi Nanning Yucai School (Vietnam Central Student Zone) and visited GXUs School of Computer, Electronics and Information, School of Electrical Engineering, and School of Physical Science and Technology for further exchanges.
